These Home-style Mashed Potatoes are my favorite. I like simple but great food.
5 Cleaned Russet Potatoes
1/2 Tbsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
1 Cup Half and Half
1 Stick Butter
Roughly cube the potatoes. Then put them in a pot of boiling water and add a pinch of salt.
Boil for about 15 minutes or until fork-tender.
Drain Potatoes then add the and pepper butter and half and half to the potatoes.
We use a fork to mash everything together leaving it a bit chunky. You could use a masher or emersion blender just be careful with the blender if you want it a little chunky.
